The 23rd annual Chocolate Extravaganza takes place inside the Ashland Town Center on March 27, 2021, in Ashland.

ASHLAND ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” Chocoholics and occasional indulgers are invited to the Ashland Town Center next month for the 26th Annual Chocolate Extravaganza.
The event runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the town center. Tasting tickets are available for $10, and each ticket purchased allows the buyer to choose full-size chocolate treats that have been donated by local bakeries and restaurants. Several Easter baskets will also be available for purchase.
The event is organized by HopeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Place, the FIVCO regional childrenÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s advocacy center for child survivors of sexual and physical abuse, human trafficking, and severe childhood trauma.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œThe Chocolate Extravaganza is a fun community event, but most importantly, the funds raised at this event provide much needed services for sexually and physically abused children in the Tri-State area,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Lisa Phelps, HopeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Place executive director, said in a release.
HopeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Place provides specialized medical exams, forensic interviews, counseling and advocacy services to children who have been sexually abused. HopeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Place served over 1,600 children and families in 2024, the release states. All services are offered at no cost at HopeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Place ChildrenÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Advocacy Center.
HopeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Place is seeking Chocolate vendors and basket donations from the community to assist with the event. Any person or organization interested in participating is asked to contact Cassie Murphy at HopeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Place at cassie@hopesplace.org.
