ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œWe are urging Culloden customers to make the short trip, about four miles, down the road to our Milton store. If they liked the Culloden store, they are going to love the Milton store.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥�

Judy Smith, of Hurricane, said she has been coming to the Culloden FoodFair since 1995.

ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œI was shocked to hear they are closing,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥� she said. ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œThis is my favorite grocery store.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥�

Smith said she will be going to the Milton store for her groceries once the Culloden location closes.

ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œFoodFair has a really good, homey feeling and the foodÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s good,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥� she said. ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œTo me, they are the best grocery store chain in the area, so I will be driving to Milton.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥�

Janice Moles, of Culloden, was also shopping at FoodFair on Monday and said she hopes another grocery store will take its place.

ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œThis is my regular grocery store, and I am so disappointed,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥� she said. ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œI come here at least once a week and I donÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™t want to travel to Milton, but I will have to for meat. FoodFair has the best meat. I just hope another grocery store takes its place because we need a grocery store in Culloden.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥�

Forth said most all of the full-time employees at the Culloden store will transfer to the Milton location.

ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œWe are giving part-time employees priority for job openings at our Milton or Barboursville locations,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥� he said.

The Culloden FoodFair currently has approximately 17 total employees, Forth said.
