HUNTINGTON ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” Ghosts and goblins of the Tri-State region are invited to attend the ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œNight at the MuseumÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Trick or Treat Extravaganza at the Museum of Radio and Technology on Monday, Oct. 28.
The event, sponsored by Spectral Research and Investigations of Huntington, is a relatively new addition to the communityÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ season.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œIt gives the community an opportunity to get together in a unique, historic location for the holiday season,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ said Brian Clary, founder of SRI, in a news release.
Given the unpredictable weather of fall, organizers wanted to plan an indoor event that would introduce visitors to the museum while providing other events as well. There will be games, crafts and a display of vintage video games provided by the Museum of Radio and Technology. A contest will be held for the best costume.
The event is in its second year. In 2023, 240 people came through the museum for the event.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œWe are hoping for an even larger number and have already started stockpiling candy and activities as well,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Clary said. ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œAdditionally, this yearÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s festivities will include our friends from the Haunted Majestic, perhaps with King Majestic in tow, and our friends from Pale Horse Emporium. We hope to have a much larger crowd and more activities for everyone to enjoy!ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥
All ages are welcome. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event will continue until 9 p.m. The event is free.
