Many communities in the region have set trick-or-treat times for 2025.

Here are the events and trick-or-treat times for 2025 in select areas:
Barboursville: Friday, Oct 31; 6-8 p.m.
Cabell County: Thursday, Oct 30; 6-8 p.m.
Ceredo: Thursday, Oct 30; 6-8 p.m.
Charleston: Thursday, Oct 30; 6-8 p.m.
Huntington: Thursday, Oct 30; 6-8 p.m.
Hurricane: Friday, Oct 31; 6-8 p.m.
Kanawha County: Thursday, Oct 30; 6-8 p.m.
Kenova: Thursday, Oct 30; 6-8 p.m.
Catlettsburg: Thursday, Oct 30; 6-8 p.m.
40th Annual Pumpkin Festival: Oct. 2-4 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Pumpkin Park, 1 Pumpkin Way in Milton.
Trick for Treats: Pawsome ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Party: Oct. 21 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ritter Park Fountain, 13th Avenue and 10th Street in Huntington. This is a trick-or-treat event for dogs. The costume contest starts at 6:30 p.m.
Candlelight ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Concert at The Foundry: Oct. 24 from 8:30-10 p.m. at the Foundry Theater, 800 5th Ave. in Huntington. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis. For ages 8 or older. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Candy Cane Drop: Oct. 25 from noon-2 p.m. at the Ritter Park Fountain, 13th Avenue and 10th Street in Huntington. Hosted by the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District.
Greenbottom Community and Senior Center Trunk-or-Treat: Free candy and yard games, everyone welcome from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 28.Â
