Could there have been a better time for his first career 100-yard rushing game? I don't think so. With AJ Turner unavailable, Houston carried the load and helped balance out the Marshall offense in a dominant win. It was the second-most carries he's had in a game over the course of his six-year career.

LB Monroe Beard III
Two and a half tackles for loss, a solo sack and a huge fourth-down stop in the second quarter gave the Thundering Herd reserve linebacker plenty of reason to celebrate Saturday night. He finished with five tackles, tied for second-best on the team.
Special Teams
P Alec Clark
The Aussie punted five times in the win. Only two of them were returned, and the Cajuns only got 15 yards on them. Two more were downed inside the 20-yard line, helping the Herd win the field-position battle and forcing the Cajuns to work with long fields.
