CORBIN, Ky. ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” Corbin (12-1) routed Ashland 42-7 Friday in a Class 4A state quarterfinal high school football playoff game Friday at Campbell Field.
The Redhounds advance to the semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday at Paducah Tilghman (13-0).
Kade Elam completed 9 of 12 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
Elam ran 11 times for 81 yards and four scores. Corbin rushed for 253 yards and threw for 144. Cole Stevens ran for 111 yards on 11 attempts. Cam Estep and Noah Cima each caught a touchdown pass.
For the Tomcats (11-2), Braxton Jennings ran for 64 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries and caught five passes for 92 yards. LaBryant Strader connected on 13 of 22 passes for 141 yards with one interception.
FAIRMONT SENIOR 35, POINT PLEASANT 6: Chris Wilson carried 13 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns Friday to lead the Polar Bears to a victory over the Big Blacks in a Class AAA high school football playoff game.
Fairmont Senior (10-1) racked up 219 rushing yards on 34 attempts and threw for 117 yards. Point Pleasant (4-6) ran for 87 yards and passed for 25.
Logan Canfield ran for 98 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries.
Canfield completed 8 of 15 passes for 117 yards and one score, with one interception.
Canfield threw a 31-yard TD pass to Cannon Dinger and ran three yards for a touchdown as the Polar Bears took a 14-0 lead. Chris Wilson added a four-yard scoring scamper before Rudy Carillo returned an interception for a touchdown and a 28-0 lead. Wilson added an 11-yard TD run.
The Big Blacks broke up the shutout when Caden Hill threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Whittington.
Fairmont Senior entertains Spring Valley (8-3) at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals.
The game was the last for Big Blacks coach Dave Darst, who is retiring after 18 seasons.
RACELAND 35, HAZARD 0: The host Rams (9-4) held the Bulldogs (8-5) without a first down in the first half in winning a Class 1A third-round playoff game.
Landon Stiltner scored on a short run and Jacob Waller kicked the extra point with 2:24 left in the first quarter to five the Rams a 7-0 lead. The score remained that way until 9:50 of the third quarter when Austin McKee recovered a botched punt attempt at the Hazard 5-yard line to set up Jonah ArnettÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s touchdown run.
Arnett scored again from the 7 at 3:24 of the third to make it 20-0. Bryan Rowsey followed with a 6-yard scoring sprint and Ayden Cooper ran for a two-point conversion. Cooper scored on a 64-yard run to set the score.
Raceland moves to the state semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday at Kentucky Country Day (10-2).
WAHAMA 68, WEIRTON MADONNA 13: The White Falcons (11-0) scored 61 points in the first half in a blow out of the Blue Dons in a Class A playoff opener in Mason, West Virginia.
Wahama scored 27 points in the first quarter and 34 in the second in advancing to the second round at 7 p.m. Friday vs. Sherman (9-2) at Point Pleasant High.
Connor Lambert carried 11 times for 175 yards and four touchdowns, and Trace Simpkins 11 times for 126 yards and three TDs. Simpkins also completed 4 of 9 passes for 71 yards and one touchdown.

FAIRLAND 66, HARVEST PREP 53: The Dragons outscored the Warriors 23-4 in the fourth quarter to win the season-opening game for both teams at the Rumble in the Jungle Showcase at Marietta High School
Fairland is a state power in Division V. Harvest Prep is regarded by many as the No. 1 team in Division VI.
The Warriors outscored the Dragons 30-27 in the first half. Isa Taliaferro, a junior, scored nine of her 12 points in the fourth period to spark FairlandÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s comeback. Junior Bailey Russell led the Dragons with 22 points. Addison Godby, a junior, scored 14 and freshman Ava Layne 11.
Janay Carter and Isarelle Smith each paced Harvest Prep with 11 points. Maliyah Lofton chipped in 10 points.

RIVER VALLEY 62, GALLIA ACADEMY 36: The Raiders (1-0) used a 24-9 run in the second quarter to pull away from the Blue Angels (0-1) in Bidwell, Ohio.Kalle Burge scored 22 points and Hayley Edwards 20 for River Valley. Laella Mullins pulled down 12 rebounds. Carlee Manley grabbed her 500th career rebound.
Loulea Walker led Gallia Academy with nine points.
SOUTHEASTERN 54, COAL GROVE 41: Six-foot twins Rowan and Reese Ruckel combined for 37 points to lift the Panthers (1-0) over the homestanding Hornets (0-1).
Rowan Ruckel scored 19 points and Reese Ruckel 18. Gracie Brown added 11 points.
Emma Lively paced Coal Grove with 18 points.
