Faith Burnside, a senior, scored six goals and assisted on one to lead the Lions (3-0) to a 7-0 triumph over Fleming County (1-2) Tuesday in girls high school soccer.
Aubree Moore made four assists and added one goal. Vivianne Allen scored once.
Skylee Roguskee made two saves to pick up the win in goal.

FAIRVIEW 3, ROCK HILL 1: Sabrina Grant combined 14 digs and 12 kills in the EaglesÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™ 25-11, 29-27, 20-25, 25-6 victory over the Redwomen (0-1) in Westwood, Kentucky.
Karly Caldwell made 25 assists for Fairview (1-0). Madison Loving contributed 19 digs and 11 aces.
MINFORD 3, SOUTH GALLIA 0: The Falcons beat the Rebels 25-17, 25-23, 25-18 in the season opener for both teams in Mercerville, Ohio.
Savanna Barker made 22 assists and Aleena Hale 11 kills for Minford.
SOUTHERN 3, RIVER VALLEY 0: The Tornadoes opened their season with a sweep of the Raiders in Racine, Ohio.
Southern won 25-20, 25-6, 25-5.
Boys soccer
SOUTH WEBSTER 4, IRONTON ST. JOE 2: Hunter Barnard scored two late goals to lift the Jeeps (1-0) over the Flyers (0-1) in Ironton.
The scored was tied 2-2 when Barnard found the back of the net at the 56-minute mark. Barnard added an insurance goal in the 74th minute.
Cole Beford and Brycin McClintic also scored for South Webster. Carson Corriell, Brayden Barnard, Bennett Cole and Hunter Barnard had assists.
Carson Lyons and Brody West scored for Ironton St. Joe.
RUSSELL 6, LAWRENCE COUNTY 0: The Red Devils (5-1) ran their winning streak to five games with a rout of the Bulldogs in Russell, Kentucky.
Brylee Mullins scored three goals and assisted on two. Gavin Grandinson tallied three goals. Trey Evans made an assist.
Hayden Barlow made two saves to earn the win.
The Bulldogs fell to 1-1.
EAST CARTER 7, GREENUP COUNTY 0: Caden Tussey assisted on three goals and scored a pair as the Raiders (3-0) clobbered the Musketeers in Lloyd, Kentucky.
Grant Menix scored one goal and assisted on two. Braxton Carroll finished with one goal and one assist. Conner Layne, Drew Menix and Melvin Whitter chipped in one goal apiece. Van Green had an assist.
Micah Brown recorded three saves.
Owen Collier made 18 saves for Greenup County (0-2-1).
RIVER VALLEY 4, IRONTON JV 3: The Raiders played their first boys soccer game in school history and knocked off the Fighting Tigers junior varsity.
