FairlandÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Brody Buchanan (33) made the All-Ohio Division V second team and ChesapeakeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Maddox Kazee (22) the third team in high school basketball.

Both players made the All-Ohio Division V boys high school basketball second team.
Buchanan, a 5-foot-10 senior, averaged 20.2 points and made his reputation as a top-tier defender in leading the Dragons to a 21-2 record, including a 14-0 mark in the Ohio Valley Conference. Buchanan has signed with the University of Rio Grande.
Schreck, a 6-2 senior, scored 21.8 points a contest to help the Fighting Tigers to a 15-8 mark and a third-place finish in the OVC.
T.J. Crumble of Cleveland Heights Lutheran East was tabbed player of the year. Coach of the year was Jeff Warstler of Gahanna Columbus Academy.
MinfordÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Myles Montgomery and Bennett Kayser were first-team selections. Each averaged 24.3 points a game.
Chesapeake 6-2 sophomore Maddox Kazee made the third team after scoring 18.5 points a game to help the Panthers to a runner-up finish in the OVC and a spot in the region tournament. South Point 6-4 senior Brayden Hanshaw, who averaged 17.4 points a game, and Coal GroveÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s 6-2 senior Owen Johnson, who scored 21.6 an outing, were special-mention selections.
Honorable-mention picks were Fairland junior Cliff Fransen (12.3 ppg), Chesapeake junior Kaden Perkins (15.1 ppg), Ironton sophomore Ashton Layne (10.8 ppg) and River Valley junior Braden Bennett (14.2 ppg).
In Division IV, Meigs 6-8 junior Carson Davis (18.9 ppg) made the first team. Gallia AcademyÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Cade Mock (19.1 ppg) and MeigsÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™ Reed Brinager (18.3 ppg) earned special mention.
Player of the year was Gator Nichols of Zanesville Maysville. Demetrius Johnson of Warrensville Heights was coach of the year.
In Division VI, senior Ethan Smith, a 23.4 point-per-game scorer from Symmes Valley, made the second team. Trey Sagester of New Madison Tri-Village was the top player and Mason Lang of Woodsfield Monroe Central was the coach of the year.
In Division VII, South Webster senior Eli Roberts (22.5 ppg) made the first team and Green junior Jon Knapp (21.4 ppg) the second. Ironton St. JoeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Wesley Neal and South GalliaÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Carson Stowers earned honorable mention.
Player of the year was Quinn Kwasniak of Willoughby Cornerstone Christian. Coach of the year was Spencer Cordonnier of Russia.
