Finally, back to football.
Welcome back to ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œAt the Game,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ a feature we're producing on high school football game nights this season to keep readers in the loop of what's going on across the area, in as close to real time as we can manage.
After an unscheduled week off delayed the first round of the postseason as one injunction after another played out in courts across the Mountain State, the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia has given the WVSSAC the go-ahead to get on with it.
Friday night features an abbreviated slate locally. In games involving HD ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥-area West Virginia teams, George Washington travels to Hurricane, Spring Valley hosts East Fairmont and Sherman entertains Tyler Consolidated.
WeÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™ll have reporters at each, as well as an Ironton-Wheelersburg grudge match in the Buckeye State and RussellÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s trip to Belfry in the commonwealth. Full coverage continues Saturday, with six more prep playoff games for teams from this area.
