DETROIT ֱ A Harrison County, West Virginia native is returning to the NFL.
Kevin Bastin, a native of Quiet Dell, 1980 graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School and West Virginia University, is returning as the head trainer of the Detriot Lions.
Bastin, a 1984 graduate of WVU and a member of the WVU College of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences Hall of Fame, has more than 25 years experience in the NFL.
He had stepped away from the Lions in 2019 and was the Director of Athletic Outreach Services at Memorial Hermann Ironman Sports Medicine Institute in Sugarland, Texas.
He had been the head trainer of the Lions from 2014-2018 and had had previous stints as head trainer of the Houston Texans for eight years and assistant athletic trainer with the Washington football team for about 12 years.
