Europe and Israel have reached a new deal to allow more food and fuel into Gaza. The European UnionÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s foreign policy chief says the plan could result in ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œmore crossings open, aid and food trucks entering Gaza, repair of vital infrastructure and protection of aid workers.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Also on Thursday, an Israeli airstrike killed 14, including 9 children, waiting outside a medical clinic to receive critical nutritional supplements and other care. The Israeli military says it was targeting a militant when it struck near the clinic. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel continues to pursue a deal for a 60-day pause in the fighting and the release of half of the hostages still held in Gaza.

A mother and her two young kids are fighting for their release from a Texas immigration detention center. The lawsuit filed Tuesday is challenging the Trump administrationÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s policy on immigrant arrests at courthouses. It's believed to be the first lawsuit involving children. It argues that the familyÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s arrests after entering the U.S. legally using a Biden-era online appointment app violate the familyÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights. The mother, her 6-year-old son and her 9-year-old daughter have been held for a month after fleeing Honduras. The Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to an email requesting comment.
