This happened to Joe Manchin when he ignored that children were being poisoned at the old Marsh Fork Elementary School by coal dust with a coal silo next to the school.
I went to the school, rubbed my hand on the brick school building and my hand was covered with coal dust.
Joe knew that the kids at the school were being poisoned, but he was in bed with Massey Energy (a.k.a. Don Blankenship, CEO).
