HUNTINGTON ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” The Delta Hotels by Marriott in downtown Huntington has added eight Tesla charging stations to its parking area.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œThe need for EV charging stations in our area is increasing and we are excited to provide this service to our hotel guests and the public,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ said Mike Shockley, director of sales for Delta by Marriott, in a news release.
The stations will work with the Tesla app and be available 24 hours, according to the release. There will be eight dedicated spots at the hotel, which will not require parking passes while charging.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œWe are currently the only downtown location with Tesla charging stations,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ said Macy Adkins, regional manager for Delta by Marriott, in the release. ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œEV car owners will be able to park and charge while enjoying the hotel or local venues.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥
The Delta location near the Huntington Mall plans to add eight additional charging stations later in October, according to the release.
