POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” A man has been charged with first-degree arson and attempted murder after a house fire in Mason County, according to a news release from West Virginia State ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥.
Two troopers responded to a structure fire on Tanglewood Drive in Point Pleasant on Tuesday, state police said. People in the house were able to get out without injury, state police said.

Tyler Allen Crump, 32, of Point Pleasant, was arrested and charged with first-degree arson and three counts of attempted murder. He was booked at the Western Regional Jail at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $500,000.
