BARBOURSVILLE ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” An inmate who escaped custody of the Floyd County Jail in Kentucky was taken into custody in Barboursville on Monday.

Thomas Price, 37, was arrested several months ago after an ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œextensive manhunt,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ according to a social media post from the Prestonburg ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Department in Kentucky. He was receiving medical treatment at Highlands Regional ARH in Kentucky when he escaped sometime between late Sunday night to early Monday morning, the police department wrote.
Price was first seen in Barboursville around 11 a.m. at the Best Western hotel off Interstate 64, and then again around 6:45 p.m., at the Big Lots Shopping Plaza, according to an email from Capt. R. A. Maddy, West Virginia State ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ deputy chief of staff. Officers from the Huntington detachment of the State ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ took Price into custody later Monday. He is being held at the Western Regional Jail awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
Price was serving jail time after being convicted on multiple charges in 2017, according to information from the Kentucky Department of Corrections, including criminal possession of a forged instrument, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, escape and theft.
