BARBOUSVILLE ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” An Ohio man is facing DUI charges after a three-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 60 at Davis Creek Road killed a Cabell County teen Thursday night, police said.
Investigators from the Barboursville ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Department obtained arrest warrants for Joshua Michael Wilson, 23, of Middleport, Ohio, who is facing charges of DUI causing death and DUI causing serious bodily injury, according to a news release from Chief Daren McNeil.
First responders were dispatched to the crash at approximately 8:52 p.m. Thursday, the Fourth of July holiday. Three vehicles were involved.
One driver, Braxton Hayden McComas, 17, of Huntington, died at the scene. A teen passenger in that same vehicle received significant injuries as a result of the collision and was taken to St. MaryÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Medical Center, according to the release.
Cabell County Schools officials confirmed Friday that McComas was a student.

Superintendent Tim Hardesty wrote that administrators joined the community in mourning McComasÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s death.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œThe families of those involved as well as all who loved them are in our thoughts and prayers,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Hardesty wrote.
According to his obituary, McComas was a senior. He is survived by his parents, Jason Lee McComas and Amanda Lea Mercer.
A funeral for McComas is planned for Tuesday, July 9, at Lewis Memorial Baptist Church.
Wilson, who received non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to St. MaryÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Medical Center as well and will be arrested upon his release.
The driver and occupants of a third vehicle were uninjured.
The intersection was closed in both directions Thursday night following the crash, affecting traffic leaving Barboursville Park, where the event Fireworks and Food Trucks took place to celebrate Independence Day.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
