IRONTON ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” A Lawrence County grand jury issued 11 indictments this week on charges stemming from possession of cocaine to cutting off ankle monitors to felonious assault.
An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
Mulu L. Gemerew, 40, from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, was indicted on charges of possession of more than 27 grams of cocaine and receiving stolen property, a 2013 Honda truck.
Joseph A. Rollins, 26, of Yellowtown Road, Gallipolis, was indicted on charges of felonious assault and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Charles Andrew Hardy, 29, of Carly Lane, Proctorville, was indicted on charges of strangulation and domestic violence.
Dennis Ray Cook, 46, of County Road 73, Scottown, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of meth, possession of drugs and having weapons while under disability.
Halleigh Dunford, 23, of Private Drive 53, Proctorville, was indicted on charges of tampering with evidence and felony vandalism for cutting off an ankle monitor.
Keith T. Coleman, 39, of the 1200 block of South 9th Street, Ironton, was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of drugs (meth).
The grand jury also indicted several people on felony 4 and felony 5 cases that generally donÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™t end up with prison sentences. They included:
Michael R. Sisler, 34, of Township Road 151 East, Ironton, was indicted on charges of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and endangering children.
John Paul Blair, 46, of Private Drive 1716, Ironton, was indicted on charges of strangulation and domestic violence.
Thomas J. Coe, 41, of Township Road 1335, South Point, was indicted on a charge of trespass in a habitation.
James M. Gray III, 71, of Burch Lane, Gallipolis, was indicted on two counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle.
Devin Michael Stapleton, 24, of the 700 block of Buckhorn Street, Ironton, was indicted on two counts of felony theft.
