SOUTH POINT, Ohio ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” A Marathon employee was injured in a barge accident on the Ohio River on Tuesday, according to a statement from the company.
The employee was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œOur thoughts are with our injured co-worker and his family, and we have been in contact with them to offer support. Out of respect for our injured employee and his familyÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s privacy, we are unable to provide more information on his condition. We are thankful to our crew and the community first responders for their remarkable and quick actions to render aid,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ the statement said.
The incident did not involve any type of release or environmental impact.
