BARBOURSVILLE ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” Parents, students and locals were invited to the new Davis Creek Elementary School to shop and take pictures with Santa Claus Tuesday evening during its ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œHoliday Bazaar.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥
Vendors were set up throughout the halls and cafeteria of the school selling hand-crafted decor, T-shirts, jewelry, coffee and other goods, and a hot chocolate bar was available for guests.
Kindergarten, first and second graders also performed, and fifth graders sold baked goods to raise funds for an upcoming field trip.
Kelsie Smith, a member of the schoolÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Parent Teacher Association, said the event was hosted in partnership with Rudy Anthony, owner of the Chick-fil-A at the Huntington Mall, in hopes it would bring in more people to see the new school while joining in on festivities. Families could also pre-order Chick-fil-A meals to eat at the event.
