Legacy Banners (Banners that will go up each year)
After the 2023 BHM Banner Project was completed, the full committee voted that there should be four banners that will continuously be a part of this project each year. The four names below are the most recognizable and 2024 Huntington Black History Month Banner Project mentioned names when speaking of black history in the City of Huntington. These four individuals each played a major role in history locally and throughout the nation.
