HUNTINGTON ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” Valley Health Systems Inc. donated 22,000 medical supply items to Sunflower Seeds ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” Tri-State Aid for Ukraine, an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical aid and humanitarian assistance in Ukraine. This donation will be sent to Ukraine to support small groups of defenders and civilian hospitals affected by the ongoing crisis.
Leading the initiative, Dr. Marc Subik, a gastroenterologist at Valley Health, recognized the urgent need for medical supplies in Ukraine, according to a Valley Health release announcing the donation.
ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œWe are committed to supporting those in need during this challenging time. The work that Sunflower Seeds is doing is invaluable, and we are honored to contribute to their mission,ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Subik said in the release.
The donation includes:
20,000 needles and syringes
1,000 disposable drapes
1,000 isolation gowns
These supplies provide care and protection to both medical personnel and those receiving assistance in the conflict-affected areas, according to the release. The supplies will be shipped by Sunflower Seeds in the coming weeks, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most.
