ASHLAND, Ky.ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” Grab a partner and get ready to light up the pickleball court at the Neon Paddle Battle on Saturday, July 26. The mixed doubles tournament, hosted by UK KingÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s Daughters Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, takes place at the Ashland Tennis Center, 1300 Oakview Road.
This indoor glow-in-the-dark tournament will feature blacklight-illuminated courts, competitive play and community fun. Levels of play include 3.0 (beginner); 3.5 (average); and 4.0+ (advanced). Matches will begin at 8 a.m., with check-in starting at 7:30 a.m.
Games will be played in a round robin format, and everyone plays teams in their skill group. The top three winning teams advance to the finals. All games are played to 11 (win by 2) and best two out of three games.
Registration is $25 per person and includes a free t-shirt and additional giveaways. Register by Sunday, July 20, at .
