ANTIQUES: The Pilot Club of Huntington will hold its 71st annual antiques show and sale at the Marshall Health Network Arena Conference Center, 3rd Avenue and 8th Street in Huntington on Friday, Aug. 15, from 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.; and on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $6 per person which covers all three days. Stephen Mullins and Roger Mullins, antiques and vintage appraisers, will be at the show on Aug. 16 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The public is invited to bring in no more than two items to be appraised for $5 each. BREAKFAST: The VFW Post 6878 in Proctorville, Ohio, will hold its monthly breakfast on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 8-10 a.m. Adult cost is $10 and cost for children under 10 years old is $5. The menu includes fried or scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, toast, fried apples, coffee, milk, and orange juice.
