VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œMagnifiedÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ is the theme for Vacation Bible School continuing from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, June 10-12, at Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2508 Merritts Creek Road. Classes are available for preschoolers to grade 12.

CallieÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s birthday was celebrated June 4; JamesonÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s was June 8 and EmilyÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s was June 9. MUSICAL: Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District and Huntington Area Regional Theater (HART) present the 11th annual Summer Outdoor Theater Season with ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œThe PromÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ this weekend in Huntington. The new hit musical begins at 8:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday, June 13-15, at The Ritter amphitheater. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., followed by a community pre-show at 7 p.m. Additional performances are available Friday-Sunday, June 20-22. NAMED: Fourteen Wayne County, West Virginia, residents earned the distinction of being named to the deanÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s list for the spring semester at Marshall University. They include Carlan T. Adkins, Carli A. Adkins, Abigail R. Clark, Robert B. Cremeans, Olivia M. Davis, Clark C. Dodgion, Madelyn G. Eastwood, Evan T. Francis, Jeffrey J. Fry, Shelby C. McCallister, Clayton W. McDaniel, Reagan L. McSweeney, Ethan S. Meade and Jordin S. Michels. To be eligible for this honor, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.3 grade point average for 12 graded hours. MOVIE: Cinema Landing in Ashland continues its free Summer Movie Series with ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥œThe Bad GuysÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥ Tuesday-Wednesday, June 10-11. LISTED: Twelve additional students were among the 195 named to the presidentÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s list for the spring semester at Mountwest Community and Technical College. Full-time students earning the distinction for having a good academic standing and completing 12 or more credit hours with a 3.75-4.00 term grade point average include Antonio Brown, Mikayla Brown, Jacob Bryan, Ashley Burns, Kay-Leigh Byrd, Kasey Call, Rondus Casdorph, Kayla Cearley, Jordan Chapman, Kiesha Conley, Lukas Conn and Amber Conner. PARTY: Impact Prevention offers its seventh year of Party in the Parks in Lawrence and Scioto counties, Ohio. The first one, featuring crafts, games, dunk tanks, Kona ice truck and free food, is Tuesday, June 10, at Etna Street Park, Ironton. Fire, law enforcement and EMS squads also provide fire engines, ambulances and patrol vehicles for children to look at and ask questions.
