NEW MEMBER: Dr. William Dennison, Huntington native who retired from Huntington Internal Medicine Group in 2018 after 28 years of service, is the newest member recently appointed to the Cabell-Huntington Health Department Board of Health until Dec. 31, 2028. He replaces Fred Kitchen, who stepped down after serving on the board six years. Dr. Dennison, who also serves on the board at Woodlands Retirement Community, attended Wake Forest and West Virginia univesities. He practiced rheumatology in Hickory, North Carolina, before returning to West Virginia. Welcome to this new position.
CRAFT: Father’s Day Kids Craft Night, hosted by Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District, begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at St. Cloud Commons Lodge. The hands-on event allows kids to paint own ball caps to give as a one-of-a-kind Dad’s Day gift. Limited space is available; pre-registration is required online.
