CHARLESTON ÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥” The Powerball jackpot has reached its highest total of the year at $700 million ahead of SaturdayÃÛÁÄÖ±²¥™s drawing.

West Virginia Lottery Acting Director David Bradley also encourages players to check their cars, purses and pockets for old tickets, as there is still an unclaimed $1 million Powerball ticket from a draw in March. That ticket is set to expire Sept. 8.
